The ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology is an advanced program that is designed to provide students with the specialized knowledge and skills required to excel in the telecommunications and IT network engineering field.  

Our Advanced Diploma of IT (Telecommunications Network Engineering) program is designed to empower students with the highest level of expertise and knowledge in the dynamic world of telecommunications and IT networks, with a specific focus on internet protocol (IP) systems.

  • Plan and Manage Troubleshooting Advanced Integrated IP Networks: This unit focuses on advanced troubleshooting in integrated IP networks, a crucial skill for network engineers. 
  • Manage ICT Project Planning: Project management skills are vital for overseeing IT projects effectively. 
  • Conduct Network System Optimization and Administration: Learn to optimize and administer network systems for peak performance. 
  • Design Hybrid Cloud-Based Network Architectures: Gain expertise in designing hybrid cloud-based network architectures, a rapidly growing area in IT.

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Our Entry Requirements Falcon Institute of Technology has the following entry requirements: Students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement.
Academic Requirements Have completed minimum Senior high school of Year 12 or equivalent
English Language Requirements Have the minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or Certificate III in EAL, or equivalent.
Delivery Mode This course will be delivered full-time (20 hours a week).
Duration and Intakes The course will run for a duration of 69 Weeks, including 14 weeks for breaks.

After achieving ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology, graduates could progress to higher AQF Level ICT qualifications like Bachelor of Information Technology, the Bachelor of Cyber Security or the Bachelor of Data Science, within the Information and Communications training package.
